Perancangan Dan Implementasi Sistem Absensi Guru Berbasis QR Code Terintegrasi Dengan Google Spreadsheet Di SDK Paupire
Abstract
Teacher attendance administration at SDK Paupire still relies on a manual paper-based attendance book, which has fundamental weaknesses including the risk of data manipulation (proxy signing), inaccurate time recording, a monthly recapitulation process that takes 2–3 working days, and a lack of real-time attendance monitoring transparency for school management. This study aims to design, build, and implement a digital attendance system based on QR Code integrated with Google Spreadsheet, and to measure the accuracy and efficiency of the system compared to the manual method. The system development method employed is the Waterfall model, consisting of requirements analysis, system design (Unified Modeling Language), implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system utilizes QR Code as a unique user identifier, with Google Apps Script acting as the bridge between the front-end and the back-end (Google Spreadsheet). This research adopts a Research and Development (R&D) approach with descriptive quantitative analysis techniques. Testing is conducted through Black Box Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and a comparative test of time efficiency between the manual and digital systems. The research population comprises all teaching and educational staff at SDK Paupire, totaling 17 people, all of whom are selected as samples through saturated sampling technique. The results indicate that the developed system successfully reduced attendance recapitulation time from 2–3 working days to mere minutes, and decreased attendance time per teacher from 1–2 minutes to less than 5 seconds. The system provides a real-time dashboard accessible to the school principal for monitoring teacher discipline anytime and anywhere. Based on UAT, the system received positive feedback with a high level of usability. The implementation of this system proved effective in supporting school administration digitization, enhancing data accuracy, and fostering a more transparent and accountable attendance management system at SDK Paupire.
