Abstract
The Standard Model Higgs quartic coupling $\lambda$ turns negative at high energies. We show that in a small periodic box with antiperiodic fermions, zero-point fluctuations of the constant gauge modes turn the Higgs zero mode into a resonance for $\lambda<0$, whose width falls exponentially in $|\lambda|^{-1/2}$. A box lasting $N$ light-crossing times keeps its vacuum with probability above $1/2$ for $\lambda>\lambda_c(N)$, which depends on $N$ only logarithmically. For a universe that begins at a Casimir turning point, $\lambda_c\approx-0.012$ lies below the Standard Model value $-0.0098$; given a curvature coupling $\xi_H\gtrsim0.08$, survival has probability above $1/2$ for $m_t<172.96$ GeV and $\approx0.7$ for current data, and FCC-ee can exclude this beginning if $m_t\gtrsim173.7$ GeV.
The Standard Model Higgs quartic coupling runs to zero around $10^9-10^{12}$ GeV at $2\sigma$, suggestive of an ultraviolet boundary condition $\lambda\simeq0$ at this scale. In a well-motivated class of high-scale supersymmetric (SUSY) models, the quartic is automatically set to zero at tree level at the superpartner...
The three gauge couplings of the Standard Model (SM) can be parameterized as the fine structure constant $\alpha$, the weak mixing angle $\sin^2\theta_w$, and the strong coupling $\alpha_s$. They are fundamental constants whose values remain unexplained. Previously we showed that minimizing magic production in charged-...
We propose a unified $A_4\times Z_2\times U(1)_L$ framework for generating small Dirac neutrino masses and address dark matter through feeble interactions in an extended particle physics model. The model extends the Standard Model with a pair of heavy vector-like neutral $A_4$ fermions $N(N_{L,R})$, two additional flav...
We investigate the potential of Higgs cascade decays to probe neutralino dark matter below the neutrino floor in the semi-constrained Next-to-Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model with nonuniversal gaugino masses. We focus on lightest-neutralino masses of 65 to 100 GeV and study the process $pp\to H_2\to A_1A_1\to\gamm...

We study the collider phenomenology of a theory in which the Higgs quartic self-coupling and the top Yukawa coupling are \textit{varying couplings}, which arise dynamically from two scalar fields, $\phi_1$ and $\phi_2$. Depending on the scalar masses relative to twice the top-quark mass, the heavy scalars decay mainly...

Rare flavour changing neutral current decays such as $B \to K^{*}\mu^{+}\mu^{-}$ provide sensitive probes of physics beyond the Standard Model (SM), being forbidden at tree level and arising only through loop induced processes. Angular analyses yield observables sensitive to short distance dynamics. The optimized obser...
