Abstract

In this paper, a project called “Early Detection of Cardiac Disorders via the Application of AI and IoT-Based Smart Healthcare System” is described. This project proposes combining AI and IoT with healthcare techniques. There is an increasing number of people suffering from cardiac illnesses nowadays; thus, there should be a way to detect such disorders early. AI will be used for the interpretation of data on physiological indicators gathered from IoT devices that will help monitor these indicators constantly. The most important indicators of people's cardiac condition include heart rate variability, electrocardiogram (ECG), and activity level. Machine learning techniques allow noticing some abnormalities in the functioning of the organism that might signal the development of cardiac disease. As soon as the anomaly is detected, an alarm message will be sent to both patient and doctor. It is also possible to use the IoT-based smart healthcare system to improve patient care in a way that involves electronic health records.
