Exclusive $\gamma\gamma\to J/\psi+\gamma$ production is studied in the color-singlet channel at leading order in the heavy-quark velocity. The conventional next-to-leading-order (NLO) result $B+V$, comprising Born production and its interference with the renormalized one-loop amplitude, is compared with $B+V+Q$, where $Q$ retains the complete one-loop square. At photon-photon energies $W=80~\mathrm{GeV}$ and $160~\mathrm{GeV}$, the conventional spectrum becomes negative over finite high-$p_T$ intervals already at renormalization scale $\mu_R=W$, whereas the complete square remains non-negative. In contrast, the total partonic cross section exceeds Born at the larger energies in the energy scan, owing to positive virtual contributions from other scattering directions. For $p$-$p$ collisions at $14~\mathrm{TeV}$ and $Pb$-$Pb$ collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=5.52~\mathrm{TeV}$, $Q$ raises the central integrated ultraperipheral rates by $11.6\%$--$18.4\%$. Their absolute scale widths over $\mu_R=\{W/2,W,2W\}$ decrease by $36\%$--$67\%$. Retaining the complete one-loop square changes both the predicted integrated rates and the shapes of the differential distributions.
In the framework of nonrelativistic quantum chromodynamics, we study the $\mathcal{O}(v^2)$ relativistic corrections to heavy-quarkonium production associated with a photon at future electron-positron colliders operated in the Z-factory mode. S-, P-, and D-wave heavy quarkonia as well as the mixed state $\psi(3770)$ ar...

We calculate the next-to-next-to-leading-order (NNLO) QCD corrections to direct colour-singlet $J/\psi$ production with open charm at B factories, using nested soft-collinear subtraction for massive partons. At $\sqrt{s}=10.6$ GeV, $m_c=1.5$ GeV and $\mu_R=2m_c$, we obtain an approximate NNLO cross section of $0.324^{+...

We consider prompt $J/\psi$, $\chi_{cJ}$ and $\eta_c$ production in high energy $pp$ collisions in the framework of non-relativistic QCD. We apply high-energy factorization with taking into account tree-level next-to-leading order corrections to the production amplitudes. Using several CCFM-evolved gluon densities in t...

We study $e^{+}e^{-} \to J/\psi+\eta_c+X$ at next-to-leading order (NLO) in $\alpha_s$ within the nonrelativistic QCD (NRQCD) framework to assess the color-octet (CO) mechanism at low energies. QCD corrections significantly enhance both color-singlet (CS) and CO leading-order results, with non-negligible QED-diagram co...
We present the first systematic theoretical study of the production of $P$-wave charmonium states $\chi_{cJ}$ and bottomonium states $\chi_{bJ}(nP)$ within jets at the LHC using the fragmenting jet function framework at next-to-leading order in $\alpha_s$. Our calculation resums both collinear DGLAP logarithms and thre...

We study the next-to-leading order (NLO) electroweak (EW) corrections to the polarization and correlation of $W$ boson pairs produced through photon-photon fusion in proton-proton ultra-peripheral collisions at the LHC, with both $W$ bosons decaying leptonically. The azimuthal correlation distributions of the charged l...
