Design and Analysis of Community Service Information System in Cimaragas Village Based on Object-Oriented Modeling
Abstract
Digitalization of public administration is essential for improving efficiency, transparency, and accessibility in village governance. In Cimaragas Village, Pangatikan District, Garut Regency, administrative services rely on physical visits, paper-based archives, and manual verification, resulting in delays and queue backlogs. This study aims to design a responsive, web-based community service information system tailored to village administrative needs. The development process adopts the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), using Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams to represent system requirements and architecture. Data were collected through an eight-week field study involving 16 purposively selected participants, 80 hours of direct observation, and an audit of 185 historical administrative request records. The proposed architecture integrates React.js, Express.js, Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Docker, and Nginx. The system supports digital citizen registration, online document requests, multilevel administrative verification, and real-time application status tracking. Staging evaluation achieved a 100% functional pass rate across 20 black-box testing scenarios, an average API response time of 210 milliseconds, and a System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 81.5, classified as excellent. These findings indicate that the proposed system can support more accountable, accessible, and transparent village administrative services while reducing redundant documentation and improving service monitoring.
