Pengaruh Analisis Jabatan dan Penguasaan Teknologi Informasi terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil dengan Work-Life Balance Sebagai Moderasi
Abstract
The background of this study is rooted in the issue of optimizing the performance of civil servants (PNS) at the DPMPTSP of Pasaman Regency, who still face challenges related to the clarity of job descriptions and the demands of digital technology proficiency. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of job analysis and information technology proficiency on civil servant performance and to examine the role of work-life balance as a moderating variable. The research approach used is an explanatory quantitative study employing a survey method. The study population consisted of 38 civil servants, all of whom were included in the sample using total sampling. Primary data were collected via a closed-ended questionnaire, while secondary data were sourced from relevant agency documents. Inferential data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results indicate that job analysis has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Similarly, proficiency in information technology has a positive and significant effect on performance.Conversely, the work-life balance variable was found not to moderate the effects of job analysis or information technology proficiency on employee performance. The conclusions of this study confirm that task clarity and technological proficiency are key factors in improving civil servant performance, although work deadlines prevent work-life balance from serving as a significant moderator.
