A MODULAR APPROACH TO CREATING ROBOTIC CELLS

Abstract

There is a large amount of information about modular systems used in robotic complexes, but most of the information is about the robot or program- ming platform, rather than the modules themselves, which have limited informa- tion about their technical specifi cations. There is currently no unifi ed document for the development of modular systems. Groups of companies are collaborating to develop their own requirements for modular cells.
