TL;DR

The complete genome sequence of Rhodococcus qingshengii strain A3-8 is reported, which consists of a chromosome and linear plasmid pA38 and a linear plasmid pA38.

Abstract

ABSTRACT A chemostat culture was constructed with phenol and forest soil as an inoculum. We report the complete genome sequence of Rhodococcus qingshengii strain A3-8, which was isolated from the culture. The genome consists of a chromosome (6,436,695 bp) and a linear plasmid pA38 (257,365 bp).

Complete genome sequence of Bacillus toyonensis WHQ17, a bacteriocin-producing strain isolated from soil of Xiangshan Mountain

ABSTRACT Bacillus toyonensis WHQ17, isolated from Xiangshan Mountain soil, produces a bacteriocin with specific anti-Bacillus cereus activity. Here, we present its complete genome, which comprises one chromosome and five plasmids, and identify three putative bacteriocin biosynthetic gene clusters for future characteriz...

Complete genome sequence of Thermincola carboxydiphila DSM 17129T isolated from a hot spring of the Lake Baikal area

ABSTRACT We report on the complete genome sequence of the carboxydotrophic hydrogenogenic, thermophilic, and alkalitolerant acetogen Thermincola carboxydiphila (DSM 17129T). The genome harbors a circular chromosome with a size of 3.519 Mbp and a GC content of 45.6%. The genome contains 3,490 genes in total.
