DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE FINANCIAL SECTOR IN THE CONTEXT OF THE TRANSITION TO AN INDUSTRIAL-INNOVATIVE ECONOMIC MODEL IN THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN
It is concluded that the transition to digital standards is a prerequisite for a sustainable transition to an industrial-innovative development model for the country.
Abstract
In an era of rapidly expanding digital technologies, the foundations for a profound industrial transformation are being laid within the framework of the Industry 6.0 concept. Tajikistan, no exception, has chosen a path toward industrial-innovative development, where success directly depends on sustainable investment. The banking sector is a key source of these funds, owing to the specific nature of the national financial architecture: with the stock market still developing, credit institutions play a primary role in accumulating and redistributing available capital. Therefore, digitalization of the financial sector is becoming critically important for supporting domestic production. The scientific novelty of this study lies in establishing a systemic link between the state of finance and the effectiveness of industrialization. It is demonstrated that the use of innovative solutions, such as digital payment gateways, financial platforms, and Big Data technologies, increases resource availability, reduces transaction costs, and stimulates investment. It is concluded that the transition to digital standards is a prerequisite for a sustainable transition to an industrial-innovative development model for the country.
