Abstract

We construct a three-parameter family of regular analytic supergravity solutions which are dual to (a) the $\mathcal{N}=2^*$ gauge theory on the four-sphere, and (b) $\mathrm{U}(1)^2$-invariant Janus interfaces in $\mathcal{N}=4$ SYM with or without the $\mathcal{N}=2^*$ mass turned on. To this end we employ a five-dimensional supergravity model coupled to six scalars which arises as a certain consistent truncation of type IIB supergravity on $S^5$. The curved domain wall solutions feature a hidden integral of motion which allows for their analytic treatment. We relate the three parameters of the solution to field theory sources and vevs and show how regularity of the solutions restricts their range. We briefly discuss the holographic evaluation of the one-point function of the field theory Lagrangian for our family of Janus solutions.
