Cross-domain cooperative sensing technology between UAV and intelligent ground vehicle in urban low-altitude airspace
Abstract
High density urban environment severely limits the ability of ground perception due to local occlusion and blind spots. Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) solves this problem by providing a three-dimensional supplementary perspective at the macro level. Integrating these entities into the air to ground collaborative sensing system is the key to breaking the barriers in a single field and improving the overall environmental perception ability. This paper examines the key technologies of the system, including multi-agent cooperation, fusion mode, heterogeneous data fusion, communication and resource scheduling. With the support of edge computing, the deep fusion of heterogeneous features within a unified spatial framework is realized, which significantly improves the information integrity and response efficiency. However, in the high dynamic environment, strict time-space alignment and real-time closed-loop control are still the deep-seated technical constraints that need to be overcome urgently. Therefore, establishing a strong cross domain collaboration architecture between drones and intelligent ground vehicles is crucial for unleashing the full potential of 3D traffic control in urban low altitude airspace.
