Abstract

In this report, we present Qwen-Audio-3.0-TTS, a production-oriented speech synthesis system that jointly advances content consistency, speaker similarity, prosodic naturalness, audio quality, controllability, multilingual coverage, efficiency, and robustness. It combines a 12.5~Hz low-frame-rate speech tokenizer for reduced inference latency with a five-stage progressive training paradigm for coordinated language model (LM) and flow-matching model (FM) optimization. The model provides production-level control through free-style natural-language instructions and fine-grained inline tags, while supporting 16 languages, 20 Chinese dialect regions, one-pass long-form synthesis up to 3 minutes, and robust generation from noisy, reverberant, or unclear reference speech. Across SEED-TTS-Eval, CV3-Eval, instruction-following, long-form, and acoustic-robustness evaluations, Qwen-Audio-3.0-TTS achieves state-of-the-art performance on many reported dimensions or the strongest aggregate results. It also ranks first on the independent Artificial Analysis Text-to-Speech Leaderboard. These results establish Qwen-Audio-3.0-TTS as a strong foundation for production-level speech synthesis.

Qwen-Audio-3.0-ASR Technical Report

In recent years, automatic speech recognition (ASR) has witnessed transformative advancements driven by three complementary paradigms: data scaling, model scaling, and deep integration with large language models (LLMs). However, bridging the gap between academic benchmark performance and real-world production utility remains a persistent challenge, particularly in handling diverse regional dialects, dynamic entities and hotwords, long-range contextual information, and disfluent spontaneous speech. In this report, we present Qwen-Audio-3.0-ASR, a Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) LLM-based ASR system designed to address these production demands through a unified, instruction-following framework. The model is built upon the Qwen backbone, and is trained on tens of millions of hours of large-scale speech data. Qwen-Audio-3.0-ASR supports transcription across 30 languages and 16 Chinese dialectal varieties spanning eight major dialect regions. Beyond multilingual and dialectal recognition, the model provides production-oriented capabilities including industry-domain entity recognition, hierarchical hotword customization, native single-pass transcription polishing, and long-audio contextual modeling. We further develop a dedicated streaming variant, Qwen-Audio-3.0-ASR-Streaming, for latency-sensitive applications. Extensive evaluations on Chinese, English, multilingual, and real-world industrial test sets demonstrate state-of-the-art or highly competitive recognition performance across a broad range of evaluation conditions, with strong performance relative to leading commercial and proprietary systems including GPT-4o Transcribe and Gemini 3.1 Pro.

CtrlSpeech: Coarse-to-Fine Control for Expressive Speech Synthesis

Recent Text-To-Speech (TTS) systems have achieved strong naturalness and zero-shot voice cloning performance, but fine-grained control of expressive speech at the word or phoneme level remains challenging. We propose CtrlSpeech, a controllable, expressive TTS framework with coarse-to-fine control. Built on the DiTAR architecture, CtrlSpeech combines global speaker conditioning with phone-aligned pitch, loudness, and duration signals, enabling localized prosodic control while preserving the target speaker's timbre. This design allows users to adjust expressive attributes at a fine temporal granularity, making speech refinement more flexible and controllable. Experimental results show that CtrlSpeech achieves competitive zero-shot TTS performance and improves controllability over expressive attributes, demonstrating its effectiveness for flexible and practical expressive speech synthesis.

VoiceChat-TTS: A Low-Latency Continuous Speech Synthesis Model for Interactive Agents

Spoken dialogue is a natural form of human--computer interaction, yet most speech language models remain limited to turn-based operation and lack real-time adaptability, such as user barge-in. Recent duplex speech-to-speech and speech-to-text models reduce latency by replacing multi-stage pipelines, but often compromise speech quality because accurate ASR, interruption handling, and high-fidelity synthesis must be optimized jointly. We propose VoiceChat-TTS, a low-latency, continuous, and streamable text-to-speech model for interactive agents. VoiceChat-TTS is driven directly by LLM text-token streams, supports explicit interruption via control tokens, and produces silence when no textual input is available. The model enables always-on, responsive speech generation while preserving modularity and high speech quality, and it supports mid-utterance interruptions without resetting the KV cache.
