Abstract
This investigation evaluates the acoustic, thermodynamic, and physicochemical properties of binary mixed systems comprising modulators and active agents. Density and ultrasonic velocity studies were performed for the two constituents and for a-lipoic acid using the molarity method. From these investigations, appreciably different derived acoustical parameters were measured, and the interaction was also calculated. Van der Waals constant, Wada's constant, Rao's constant, Adiabatic compressibility, Acoustic impedance, and intermolecular free length were obtained. The dependence of these parameters upon temperature and molality was analysed to reveal molecular interactions. Ultrasonic velocity and acoustic impedance increasing with concentration may point to the strong solvent-solute interaction, whereas lower compressibility suggests the increased stiffness of the formed solute-solvent structure. The intensity implied that weak to medium interactions persist between molecules, such as hydrogen bonding and dipole interactions. This study is expected to enable wider applications to pharmaceutical and biochemical formulations with vitamins
The present investigation focuses on the influence of solvent polarity on the physicochemical and acoustic behaviour of polyethene glycol (PEG-400) solutions in acetone and dimethylformamide (DMF) at 300 K. Ultrasonic velocity, density and viscosity of PEG-400 solutions having different concentrations were experimental...

Ultrasonic velocity, density, and viscosity measurements were performed for binary mixtures of ethyl benzoate with 2-methyl-1-propanol and 2-methyl-2-propanol over the full mole fraction range at temperatures from 303.15 to 318.15 K. Thermo-acoustic parameters including molar volume, adiabatic compressibility, intermol...

Cooling efficiency and thermo-oxidative stability remain major challenges for vegetable-oil-based dielectric fluids. Here, soybean oil (SBO) was modified by transesterification with short-chain alcohols, and the effects of terminal alkyl-chain length were examined using simplified molecular models and experiments. De...

Acoustic parameters were determined for two ternary liquid systems consisting of equal concentrations of donor–acceptor {[DPE] = [Amine]} from 0.03 mol·kg–1 to 0.31 mol·kg–1 of diphenyl ether (DPE), and one of the two structurally different primary amines [n-hexylamine (NHA), cyclohexylamine (CHA)] in n-hexane at 303...

In synthetic polymer-based biomaterials, interfacial hydration plays a crucial role in biological interactions with proteins and cells. Although a wide range of polymers, including zwitterionic and non-ionic types, are used as biomaterials, the molecular principles by which their chemical structures influence interfaci...
Organic chelating agents are widely used to regulate cement hydration, yet the molecular relationship between ligand structure, interfacial adsorption, and mineral dissolution remains unclear. To overcome the limitations of single-scale approaches, this study employs a comprehensive synergistic framework combining dens...
