Abstract
This case report describes the management of multiple adjacent gingival recession defects in the maxillary
anterior region using the Vestibular Incision Subperiosteal Tunnel Access (VISTA) technique in combination with a
subepithelial connective tissue graft (SCTG). VISTA is a minimally invasive periodontal plastic surgery approach that
enables subperiosteal tunnel preparation and coronal advancement of the gingival tissues through a remote vestibular
access incision, thereby preserving the integrity of the interdental papillae. In the present case, an autogenous SCTG was
incorporated to enhance soft-tissue thickness and improve the quality and stability of the augmented gingival tissue. The
combined approach was selected to minimize surgical trauma while providing predictable root coverage and satisfactory
esthetic outcomes across multiple contiguous recession defects. Healing was uneventful, and favorable clinical results were
observed during postoperative follow-up. Nevertheless, longer-term clinical evaluation and further studies involving larger
patient populations are required to establish the predictability and applicability of this technique across different clinical
presentations.
Background Persistent periapical infections may necessitate surgical intervention when nonsurgical endodontic treatment fails. Conventional surgical approaches in the maxillary anterior region often lead to visible scarring and prolonged healing, compromising esthetic outcomes. The vestibular incision subperiosteal tun...

INTRODUCTION
Gingival recession (GR) defects in the mandibular anterior region represent a particularly challenging scenario in periodontal plastic surgery, owing to a thin soft tissue phenotype, minimal keratinized tissue, limited vestibular depth, and the frequent presence of a prominent labial frenum. While signific...

Multiple adjacent gingival recession-type defects (MARTDs) may require treatment to address aesthetic concerns and root sensitivity. Coronally advanced flap (CAF) procedures can treat multiple sites without requiring a palatal donor site, but comparative evidence for different flap designs is limited. To compare the cl...

High-positioned impacted supernumerary teeth near the nasal floor in the maxillary anterior region pose significant surgical challenges, as conventional labial or palatal approaches often require extensive bone removal and risk injuring adjacent teeth. This case report describes a 14-year-old female with recurrent swel...

Background Rehabilitation of the posterior maxilla is challenging due to sinus pneumatization, limited vertical bone height, and thin peri‐implant soft tissues. Minimally invasive, biologically guided approaches aim to reduce morbidity while ensuring predictable outcomes. This report presents a staged protocol integrat...
