TL;DR

The numbers of lung cancer incident cases, deaths, prevalent cases and DALYs in China increased substantially and were far greater than those in the United States by 2023 and projections through 2050 indicate that the absolute case burden of lung cancer in China will continue to increase, whereas that in the United States will continue to decrease, further widening the disparity between the two countries.
