Microagulhamento associado ao PDRN e ao GHK-Cu na estética regenerativa: revisão integrativa das evidências científicas
Abstract
Objective: To analyze scientific evidence regarding the combination of microneedling with polydeoxyribonucleotide (PDRN) and the copper peptide GHK-Cu in regenerative aesthetics, evaluating their mechanisms of action, clinical benefits, safety, and limitations. Method: This is an integrative literature review with a qualitative approach and descriptive nature, conducted using the PubMed/MEDLINE, Virtual Health Library (VHL/BVS), LILACS, SciELO, and Scopus databases. Studies published between 2021 and 2026 in Portuguese, English, and Spanish were included; they were required to be available in full text and related to the use of microneedling combined with PDRN or GHK-Cu for skin rejuvenation and regeneration. Results: The analyzed studies demonstrated that microneedling enhances the permeation of bioactive agents and stimulates neocollagenesis. PDRN showed consistent results regarding improvements in hydration, elasticity, and skin texture, as well as the reduction of fine lines. GHK-Cu demonstrated regenerative potential by stimulating fibroblasts, collagen synthesis, and extracellular matrix remodeling, although fewer clinical studies were available. Conclusion: Combining microneedling with PDRN and GHK-Cu proved promising for regenerative aesthetics. However, the heterogeneity of protocols and the scarcity of standardized clinical trials highlight the need for further research to consolidate their clinical application.
