We continue the systematic study initiated in arXiv:2602.05185 of the relationship between the spectral theory and descriptive combinatorics of bounded-degree Borel pmp graphs, particularly in the non-regular setting. We first adapt a classical result of Nikiforov to give a new spectral lower bound on the approximate measurable chromatic number. For certain non-regular graphs, this bound improves on the approximate measurable version of Hoffman's classical bound established in arXiv:2602.05185. Next, we strengthen a characterization in arXiv:2602.05185 of approximate measurable bipartiteness in terms of the spectrum of the adjacency operator by generalizing to the case of non-regular graphs. Finally, we introduce the measurable domination number and adapt several classical results of Lu, Liu, and Tian to give a bound on the spectral gap of the Laplacian operator in terms of the measurable domination number.
Using spectral and polynomial methods, we show several sharp spectral bounds for the clique and chromatic numbers of graph powers that only use spectral information from the original graph. In particular, we strengthen earlier spectral-radius estimates to obtain an asymptotically sharp colouring bound for general graph...

We show that all normal covers of a fixed finite graph $G$ sitting between the universal and maximal abelian covers share the same atomic part of their spectral measures. We give an explicit double formula for the mass of atoms which generalises and unifies known results on universal covering trees and maximal abelian...

We prove an annealed central limit theorem for the weight of the maximum weight matching on uniformly random simple graphs with prescribed, uniformly bounded degrees and i.i.d. exponential edge weights. In particular, the result applies to random $d$-regular graphs for every fixed $d \ge 2$. The proof separates the flu...
We confirm a conjecture of Brause, Randerath, Rautenbach and Schiermeyer (2016) by proving a localized lower bound on the independence number of a graph that strengthens the classical bounds of Fajtlowicz (1978) and of Caro (1979) and Wei (1981), which in turn settles a conjecture by Bertram and Hor\'{a}k (1996). Our p...

We prove that the peripheral spectrum of every positive operator on a complex Banach lattice is cyclic, thereby resolving the cyclicity conjecture without additional growth assumptions. Our proof is based on a spectral domination theorem derived from Vesentini's theorem on the subharmonicity of the spectral radius: whe...
