Abstract

The integration of technology in education has become a decisive factor in shaping contemporary teaching and learning practices. Differentiated instruction and collaborative learning represent two pivotal pedagogical approaches that seek to address classroom diversity and foster active student engagement. The present study aims to examine the role of technology in supporting these approaches within primary education, with particular emphasis on adapting to diverse learning styles and individual learner needs. The research involved 110 fifth- and sixth-grade students from three primary schools and employed a mixed-methods design comprising questionnaires, interviews, and classroom observations. The findings highlight that digital platforms such as Google Classroom, Padlet, and Kahoot enhance participation, facilitate differentiation, and promote interaction. Nevertheless, challenges persist, including unequal access to digital resources and the need for continuous teacher professional development. The study concludes that technology can serve as a catalyst for strengthening differentiated and collaborative learning, provided it is embedded within coherent and pedagogically sound frameworks.
