Joint-measurement advantage and finite-time transitions in accelerated detector registers

Abstract

The Unruh response thermalizes accelerated detectors, but the entanglement remaining in a register does not by itself specify what distributed measurements can recover. We study this distinction for a four-qubit cluster state whose two assisting nodes independently undergo generalized amplitude damping, while the target nodes remain isolated and the environments are inaccessible. We derive the exact joint-assisted concurrence and the exact one-way value for arbitrary local measurements. The joint optimum equals the bipartition negativity, and computational-basis measurements attain the one-way optimum. A polar-decomposition argument, together with compactness, establishes a necessary and sufficient condition for separable measurements to attain the joint optimum and proves a strict gap whenever this condition fails. For assisting detectors at equal Unruh temperature with relaxation-rate ratio $r>1$, joint advantage exists precisely when the thermal excitation factor satisfies $q<1/r$. At finite positive temperature it ends at a unique finite time, while the remaining entanglement is nonzero. For $r=2$, both the transition time and remaining resource have closed expressions. These results identify when joint assistance is necessary within the independent weak-coupling thermalization model.

Phase-controlled recoverable entanglement in accelerated detector registers

We study recoverable entanglement in a four-qubit cluster-state register whose two detector qubits couple to a scalar field. A local preparation phase leaves the initial reference--register entanglement and detector marginal unchanged, but controls protection under collective noise. At the optimal phase, a fixed decode...

Resource-based reliability of quantum-coherent devices

Quantum devices can lose the resource needed for a specified function without entering a fixed failure subspace. We propose a resource-based reliability framework for this situation, quantifying the remaining task-relevant resource relative to a stated ideal capacity. The resource measure is selected through its operat...

Environmental records unlock universal quantum computation from thermal decoherence

At a fixed thermal exposure, the same stabilizer processor can be classically simulable or quantum universal, depending on which environmental records its controller retains. We give an exact computational classification of energy-counting thermal-idle instruments in a quantum processor with ideal stabilizer control an...

Terminal-Register Certification for Finite-Measurement Learning of Multiscale Quantum States

It is confirmed that an ideal sequential and terminal measurement schedule delivers the same complete bit string distribution under matched causal operations, while normalized postselection can amplify perturbations inversely with prefix acceptance.

Ancilla-assisted nondestructive discrimination of distributed GHZ-class states

Nondestructive quantum state discrimination is a fundamental primitive in distributed quantum information processing, where shared multipartite entangled resources need to be identified without being consumed. In this work, we present a scalable ancilla-assisted protocol for the strict nondestructive discrimination of...

Collective Quantum State Preparation Is Nonadditive

Quantum state preparation is a basic primitive of quantum computation and control, but its resource cost is usually analyzed for one target state or under an independent-copy construction. Here we study the many-copy problem under weighted Pauli control, where a Pauli-product rotation $e^{i\phi P}$ is charged by its ro...
