Abstract
This study investigated phytopathogenic fungi isolated from the vegetative organs of quince (C. oblonga Mill.) and the antagonistic activity of Bacillus strains against the identified pathogens. Phytopathogenic fungi were identified using morphological methods based on samples collected from fruits, leaves, and shoots exhibiting disease symptoms. The results revealed that Aspergillus tubingensis, Alternaria alternata, Fusarium sp., and Rhizopus arrhizus were pathogenic fungi associated with quince. Under laboratory conditions, the Bacillus subtilis TM and Bacillus velezensis TM strains demonstrated high antagonistic activity against the identified pathogens.
