Highlights • Provides complete acquisition parameters, quality control procedures, and processing scripts to facilitate implementation of advanced multi-shell diffusion imaging in clinical stroke research settings.• Evaluation in twelve healthy volunteers, including a test-retest reliability assessment in six participants.• Applied in twelve patients 7 days after ischemic stroke.
