Produktivitas Tim Reservasi di Tengah perbedaan Zona Waktu: Strategi pengelolaan Komunikasi Internal pada Reva Group Bintaro
Abstract
Hotel reservation operations in the Umrah travel sector involve intensive coordination with international partners. Differences in time zones between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia can create challenges in maintaining effective communication and ensuring the productivity of the reservation team. This study seeks to examine the productivity of the hotel reservation team in responding to time zone differences through the implementation of internal communication management at Reva Grou.A qualitative approach with a case study method was applied in this research. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, direct observations, documentation, and data triangulation. The collected data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results demonstrate that team productivity is supported by well-organized task distribution, accuracy in processing reservation information, the ability to adapt to operational changes, and effective coordination among team members. Time zone differences can lead to delays in receiving confirmations from hotel partners, requiring adjustments to communication schedules and the prioritization of tasks. Internal communication management, supported by clear communication procedures, routine coordination, continuous information exchange, and periodic evaluations, contributes to reducing communication errors and maintaining operational efficial. The findings indicate that internal communication management has an important role in maintaining the productivity of hotel reservation teams working across different time zones during the Umrah season. Effective internal communication also facilitates timely task completion, strengthens team coordination, improves operational readiness, and supports the team's ability to respond to changing operational conditions.
