Optimal scheduling method for biomass off-grid microgrids considering load uncertainty
Abstract
Aiming at the scheduling difficulties caused by random load fluctuations in biomass off-grid microgrids, an optimal scheduling method considering load uncertainty is proposed. Based on historical load deviation analysis, the load fluctuation coefficient is calculated and the fuzzy boundary of load is determined to accurately characterize load uncertainty. A multi-objective optimization model is constructed with the objectives of minimizing system operation cost and maximizing biomass energy utilization efficiency, and chance constraints are introduced to ensure power supply reliability. An improved chaotic particle swarm optimization algorithm is designed to solve the model, and a hierarchical scheduling strategy is formulated according to the fitness value. Experimental results show that the biomass energy utilization efficiency of the proposed method can reach 45% when the fuel moisture content is lower than 10%, the peak average operating power of the micro-source is 4000kW, and it stabilizes in the range of 2000~3000kW with small oscillations during 6~20h, indicating that the proposed method significantly improves the operational reliability, economy and energy utilization efficiency of biomass off-grid microgrids under strong load uncertainty.
