Pengaruh Penggunaan Teknologi Digital terhadap Pertumbuhan Startup Melalui Kapabilitas Inovasi
Abstract
The startup ecosystem, both globally and nationally, is experiencing sharp disruption due to high levels of vulnerability and extreme market uncertainty. This condition was triggered by the contraction of the technology industry, or the tech winter phenomenon, that occurred throughout the period from late 2024 to 2025. This explanatory quantitative research aims to empirically test the causal relationships between variables in the digital business ecosystem. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique that focused on digital startups and MSMEs in the food and beverage (F&B) sector that have adopted the digital ecosystem. The results of the structural model evaluation showed a very strong determination value (R^2), where Using Digital Technology and Startup Growth were able to explain 80.5% of the variance in Innovation Capabilities (R^2 = 0.805), and 83.9% of the variance in Startup Growth was explained by Using Digital Technology (R^2 = 0.839). The results show that the use of digital technology has a positive and significant effect on startup growth (β=0.916, T=31.008, p=0.000) and innovation capability (β=0.862, T=15.587, p=0.000), while startup growth also significantly increases innovation capability (β=0.616, T=3.914, p=0.000). Thus, the use of digital technology and startup growth have very strong explanatory power in predicting innovation capability and overall business performance.
