Abstract

In Dendrobium officinale , DoGL3 directly activates DoF3′5'H and DoDFR promoters independently of DoTTG1, positively regulating anthocyanin biosynthesis via a non‐canonical mechanism. This reveals a novel regulatory framework for anthocyanin accumulation under simulated wild conditions.

MeWRKY30 and MeABF3 Cooperatively Regulate Drought Tolerance in Cassava by Transcriptionally Activating MeCBF1.

This study identifies a MeWRKY30‐MeABF3 module that transcriptionally activates MeCBF1 and enhances drought tolerance in cassava ( Manihot esculenta Crantz), offering new insights and gene targets for drought‐resistant breeding.

KaMYBD, a MYB-Related Transcriptional Repressor From Krascheninnikovia arborescens, Confers Drought Tolerance.

This study reveals KaMYBD, a drought‐inducible MYB‐related transcriptional repressor from the xerophytic shrub Krascheninnikovia arborescens. Overexpression of KaMYBD enhances drought tolerance and coordinately promotes flavonoid and lignin accumulation. These findings highlight xerophytes as a valuable genetic resou...

BnMYB615 Reciprocally Regulates CAT3 and COL2 to Coordinate Drought Tolerance and Flowering Time in Rapeseed.

BnMYB615 activates CAT3 and represses COL2, reciprocally regulating drought tolerance and flowering time in rapeseed. Under normal conditions, BnMYB615 maintains a relatively high expression level, sustaining basal ROS scavenging. Under drought, its down‐regulation promotes early flowering to facilitate stress escape...

The complex regulatory properties of the plastidial phosphorylase L80 intrinsically disordered region

Plastidial α-glucan phosphorylase (Pho1) regulates starch metabolism and also modulates photosystem I (PSI) activity. In rice, Pho1 contains an 80-amino-acid intrinsically disordered region (IDR), L80, that acts as a negative regulator. While total removal of the L80 IDR boosts seedling growth, flowering time, overall...

Complementary Peptide-Mediated Anthocyanin Accumulation Restricts Pseudomonas oryzihabitans CB24 Colonization.

A PAP2‐targeting complementary peptide (cPEP) enhances anthocyanin accumulation and restricts Pseudomonas oryzihabitans CB24 colonization, demonstrating a rapid, transgene‐free strategy for manipulating plant metabolism and microbiome interactions.
