We characterize the positive Borel measures $\mu$ on the unit disc $\mathbb{D}$ for which the M\"obius-invariant space $Q_K$ embeds continuously or compactly into $L^2(\mu)$. The characterization is given in terms of a discrete dyadic capacity $C^{(b)}_{K,\mathcal{R}}(\mu)$ built from a polar dyadic resolution of $\mathbb{D}$, and of an equivalent capacity $D^{(b)}_{K,\mathcal{R}}(\mu)$ expressed as a semidefinite program. The equivalence of the two capacities is established through conic duality and the complex Grothendieck inequality. As an application, we characterize the boundedness and compactness of the Volterra integral operator $T_g$ on $Q_K$, bridging and completely resolving the gap between the sufficient and necessary conditions established by Li and Wulan (2010). We also obtain a complete non-testing characterization of the pointwise multipliers $\mathcal{M}(Q_K)$ on $Q_K$, thereby answering an open problem posed in the survey of Bao and Wulan (2021).
We identify properties of a Banach space $\mathcal{B}$ of analytic functions on the open unit disk $\mathbb{D}$ in the complex plane ensuring that a multiplication operator $M_\psi: \mathcal{B} \to\mathcal{B}$ is Fredholm if and only if its symbol $\psi$ is bounded away from $0$ near $\partial \mathbb{D}$. The properties we identify are shared by a wide variety of much-studied spaces, including the Hardy spaces $H^p(\mathbb{D})$, weighted Bergman spaces $A^p_\omega(\mathbb{D})$, Hardy-Sobolev spaces $H^2_\beta(\mathbb{D})$, the spaces $S_j^p(\mathbb{D})$ of functions having $j$-th derivative in $H^p(\mathbb{D})$, and the disk algebra $A$. Thus, as a corollary, our work characterizes Fredholm multiplication operators on these spaces. In addition, we describe the closed, finite-codimensional subspaces of $\mathcal{B}$ that are invariant under $M_z: \mathcal{B} \to \mathcal{B}$ in terms of the zeros that the functions in such subspaces have in common. We discuss connections between these subspaces and the problem of characterizing the Fredholm multiplication operators on $\mathcal{B}$, and we prove that $M_z$ restricted to such a subspace is always cyclic, with a polynomial cyclic vector having degree equal to the codimension of the subspace.
In this paper, we obtain non-testing characterizations, in terms of dyadic capacity gauges, of the boundedness and compactness of the differentiation operator $$ \frac{d}{dz}:Q_K\longrightarrow L^q(W\,dA), \qquad 0<q<\infty. $$ We also characterize the limiting case as $q\to0^+$, formulated in terms of a logarithmic geometric mean, while the endpoint $q=\infty$ is treated separately using a standard testing argument. These results greatly extend the previous work on ${\mathcal Q}_p$-spaces to the general setting of $Q_K$-spaces. As applications, we characterize composition operators and Volterra-type integral operators between different $Q_K$-spaces. In particular, the off-diagonal characterization established here, together with the previously established diagonal case, completely resolves Zhao's 2009 open question on composition operators between ${\mathcal Q}_p$-spaces.
Let $\mu$ be a positive Borel measure on $\mathbb C^n$. We prove that, for every $0<p<\infty$, the Toeplitz operator $T_\mu^{\mathrm{ph}}$ induced by $\mu$ on the pluriharmonic Fock space belongs to the Schatten class $S_p$ if and only if the local mass function $z\mapsto\mu(B(z,r))$ belongs to $L^p(\mathbb C^n)$ for one, or equivalently every, $r>0$. For $n\geq2$, this resolves a conjecture of Jaguzovi'c and Vujadinovi'c, and the range $0<p<1$ is new in every dimension. Writing $T_\mu$ for the corresponding holomorphic Toeplitz operator, we obtain the sharp estimates $$\|T_\mu\|_{S_p}^p \leq \|T_\mu^{\mathrm{ph}}\|_{S_p}^p \leq 2^{\max\{1,p\}} \|T_\mu\|_{S_p}^p. $$ We also prove a sharp comparison with constant two in every symmetrically normed ideal and an exact trace formula, using positivity and a $2\times2$ block decomposition whose diagonal blocks are $T_\mu$ and an antiunitary copy of its compression to the functions orthogonal to constants. We then consider generalized Fock weights satisfying $m \, dd^c|z|^2\le dd^c\phi\le M \, dd^c|z|^2$. For the canonical holomorphic and antiholomorphic direct sum norm, the same Schatten and symmetrically normed ideal estimates hold. For the norm inherited from $L^2(\mathbb C^n,e^{-2\phi}dV)$, the local mass criterion also holds whenever $e^{-2\phi}$ is comparable to a generalized Fock weight invariant under the scalar circle action. Without further assumptions, the local mass criterion can fail for the inherited norm: in one complex dimension, we construct a weight of the form $\phi(z)=|z|^2/2+\operatorname{Re}q(z)$, with $q$ entire, and a finite positive measure whose local masses belong to every $L^p$, although the Toeplitz form on the inherited pluriharmonic space is unbounded.
The well-known characterization of Hardy spaces $\mathrm{H}_{p}(\mathbb D)$, $0<p<\infty$, in terms of the Littlewood-Paley g-function $$ S f (\zeta) = \left(\int_0^1 |f'(r \zeta)|^2 (1 - r) \mathrm dr\right)^{1/2} \in \mathrm{L}_{p} $$ is generalized to Hardy-type spaces $X_A$ corresponding to quasi-Banach lattices $X$ on the unit circle $\mathbb T$ under the assumption that the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator $M$ is bounded in $(X^\delta)'$ with some $\delta>0$. As an application to composition operators $C_\varphi$, we derive an exact criterion for the boundedness and compactness of $C_\varphi : \mathcal{B}^\omega \to X_A$, where $\mathcal{B}^\omega = \{f \mid \sup |f'|/\omega<\infty\}$ is the weighted Bloch space with a log-convex radial weight $\omega$, generalizing recent results in the one-dimensional setting.

Let $\mu$ be a log-concave probability measure on $\mathbb R^n$ and let $f\colon\mathbb R^n\to\mathbb R^k$ be a polynomial mapping of degree at most $d$. We show that \[ \mu(f\in A) \le C\bigl(\lambda_k(A)\bigr)^{\frac{1}{k(d-1)+1}} \] for every Borel set $A\subset\mathbb R^k$ whenever the image measure $\mu\circ f^{-1}$ is absolutely continuous. The constant $C$ is independent of the dimension $n$, and the exponent $\frac{1}{k(d-1)+1}$ is sharp. This extends the scalar Carbery--Wright inequality and answers, in the log-concave setting, a question raised by Avni, Glazer, and Larsen. In addition, we show that the density of $\mu\circ f^{-1}$, whenever it exists, belongs to the Nikolskii--Besov space $B^{\frac{1}{k(d-1)+1}}_{1,\infty}(\mathbb R^k)$, with a dimension-free bound for the corresponding norm. A central difficulty in passing from scalar polynomials to vector-valued polynomial mappings is the lack of a suitable nondegeneracy parameter quantifying absolute continuity of $\mu\circ f^{-1}$, as the variance does in the scalar case. Natural candidates such as the covariance matrix or the Jacobian matrix either fail to characterize this property or do not lead to dimension-free estimates. We identify such a parameter and define it to be the covariance matrix of the vector formed by the monomials of degree up to $d^{k-1}$ in the normalized components of $f$. The dimension-free nature of our results allows us to extend Kusuoka's absolute continuity criterion for Gaussian polynomial random vectors to the log-concave setting. Moreover, in this setting, we obtain estimates relating convergence in distribution to convergence in total variation for polynomial random vectors.
In this paper, we obtain a full characterization of the finite positive Borel measures $\mu$ on $\mathbb D$ for which the embedding $$ \operatorname{id}:\mathcal D_{p-1}^p\longrightarrow L^p(\mu),\qquad p>2, $$ is bounded. More precisely, for any dyadic system $\mathcal D$ on $\mathbb T$, we prove that this embedding is bounded if and only if $$ \mathcal C_{p,\mathcal D}(\mu)+\mathcal H_{p,\mathcal D}(\mu)<\infty, $$ where $\mathcal C_{p,\mathcal D}(\mu)$ and $\mathcal H_{p,\mathcal D}(\mu)$ denote the packing energy and the Haar energy of $\mu$, respectively. This resolves a longstanding characterization problem in the theory of Dirichlet-type spaces that arose from Wu's 1999 conjecture, corresponds to the endpoint case not covered by the work of Arcozzi, Rochberg, and Sawyer in 2002, and remained open after the works of Girela and Pel\'aez in 2006 and Galanopoulos, Girela, and Pel\'aez in 2011. We also construct finite measures showing that the two energy conditions are genuinely distinct. The key ingredient in the proof is a reduction of the Dirichlet embedding to a dyadic Whitney embedding, which allows us to combine weighted Hardy inequalities on trees with probabilistic arguments.
