Securing AI Chatbots: A Framework for Trust and Standardization

Oct 2026 · International Journal of Drug Delivery Technology
Ethics and Social Impacts of AI

Abstract

AI-based chatbots have taken over industries such as health care, finance, and customer services. However, the implementation of AI chatbots poses many issues regarding trust, privacy, and proper ethical use of this technology. This paper discusses a framework to standardize trust and security in AI-based chatbots. The framework combines insights from technical, psychological, philosophical, and cultural perspectives. The main problems tackled include issues such as lack of privacy, robustness of the models against adversarial attacks, and ethical considerations. Some of the privacy enhancement measures discussed in this study include the use of techniques such as homomorphic encryption and federated learning. Measures aimed at making the models resilient to attacks by adversaries such as prompt injection and data poisoning have been discussed. The framework seeks to address the privacy paradox and other aspects such as emotional aspects and the limitations of epistemology.
