Abstract
This paper investigates the controller design problem for switched systems with input delays. A predictor-based switched controller is proposed to compensate for the effect of input delays. By introducing an appropriate transformation, the switched system with input delays is converted into an equivalent switched partial differential equation system. The exponential stability of the resulting closed-loop system is established by constructing multiple Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals, which allows for arbitrarily large input delays. Furthermore, the robustness of the proposed controller against perturbations in switching signals is rigorously analyzed based on the Lyapunov–Krasovskii framework. A dynamic predictor-based switched controller is also developed, and the exponential stability of the corresponding closed-loop system is guaranteed. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control schemes.
The considered networked control system is rewritten as a class of hybrid system model, based on which a novel Lyapunov function is constructed to analyze the L2-gain performance and the tradeoffs of the maximally allowable transmission interval and the maximally allowable delay are designed.
This paper addresses the issue of exponential stabilization for switched time-delay Hamiltonian systems with uncertainties. First, the concept of exponential passivity is proposed for nonlinear time-delay systems. For a class of time-delay Hamiltonian systems, the exponential passification conditions are given by const...

Abstract This paper focuses on the synchronization control problem of fractional-order neutral neural networks (FONNs) characterized by mixed time-varying delays, which include leakage, transmission, distributed, and neutral delays. First, a novel synchronization control system is designed, which comprises a drive syst...

Communication delays are inherent in networked control systems and may significantly affect closed-loop performance. This paper investigates the impact of external perturbations in observer-based linear systems with delayed measurements and control signals using the output-to-output gain (OOG) framework. By employing d...
