Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) faces critical challenges in supporting computation-intensive applications under resource-constrained edge networks, particularly in high-precision manufacturing scenarios requiring high-concurrency and low-latency task offloading. This paper proposes Joint Communication and Computation Co-Design (JCCO), a multi-timescale hierarchical fusion framework that overcomes limitations of conventional Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access and multi-user Multiple-Input Multiple-Output offloading through joint communication-computation co-design. Leveraging perturbation-based Lyapunov optimization, JCCO decouples the problem into: (a) real-time interference-spatial decoupling precoding via our Lyapunov-guided Alternating Precoding Algorithm (LyAPA),and (b) long-term correlation-aware offloading using the Multimodal Fusion Attentional Multi-Agent Offloading Algorithm (MuFa-MAO) that fuses channel-computation-workload states. Extensive simulations demonstrate latency reduction and energy efficiency gain over state-of-the-art baselines under assembly workshop scenarios.
This publication proposes a definition and a classification of agile software development approaches and analyses ten software development methods that can be characterized as being "agile" against the defined criterion.

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.

The results indicate that software engineering work practices are chosen opportunistically, adapted and configured to provide value under the constrains imposed by the startup context.

The perception of the impact of agile methods is predominantly positive, and several challenge areas were discovered, but based on this study, agile methods are here to stay.
