Abstract
Autoregressive text-to-speech models achieve strong naturalness but suffer from slow inference due to sequential token generation, limiting their deployment in production applications that require low latency. IndexTTS-2 is a state-of-the-art autoregressive TTS model consisting of a GPT, a flow-matching Diffusion Transformer, and a vocoder. Despite its high synthesis quality, its inference speed barely reaches real-time without streaming or batching support. We present Faster IndexTTS-2, which accelerates all neural network components of IndexTTS-2 for production deployment on GPUs using NVIDIA TensorRT and TensorRT-LLM. Faster IndexTTS-2 also enables streaming synthesis for latency-sensitive interactive applications, and batched inference across all components to maximize GPU utilization. Experiments on the Seed-TTS benchmark for both English and Chinese demonstrate up to 5.0$\times$ speedup on the autoregressive GPT and 3.6$\times$ end-to-end, with minimal degradation in word error rate, speaker similarity, and naturalness. Our methodology provides a practical reference for efficiently accelerating similar autoregressive speech models on GPUs.
Text-to-speech systems often face a trade-off between natural prosody and efficient inference: higher perceptual quality typically comes at increased computational cost and latency. We present TontaubeV1, a model that preserves natural prosody while enabling streaming from a single consumer GPU. Speech is encoded by the hierarchical DualCodec representation at 12.5 Hz, which separates a semantic stream from successive acoustic refinements. Our design assumes that prosodic structure is largely established when the semantic stream is generated, and allocates capacity accordingly: a Qwen3-1.7B-derived transformer predicts that stream and thereby the utterance duration, while three progressively smaller Qwen3-0.6B-derived transformers each add one acoustic refinement. Text is tokenized per character rather than by subword. Paired text and audio markers at shared positions support long-form generation with bounded context, and overlapping DualCodec reconstructions are mapped into the VibeVoice acoustic latent space and decoded causally, enabling streaming despite DualCodec's noncausal decoder. The model accepts up to one minute of reference audio for voice conditioning and is designed primarily for English and German, with additional multilingual support. The four predictors total 2.9B parameters; on a single RTX 5090 the streaming path reaches approximately 200 ms to first audio. In separate non-streaming measurements, the end-to-end real-time factor (RTF) is 0.08 for one input and the aggregate RTF is 0.02 across eight concurrent inputs. On our LLM-as-a-judge audiobook-reading benchmark, TontaubeV1 matches ElevenLabs Flash v2.5 and outperforms Fish Audio S2 Pro, the April 2026 Gradium API, and Cartesia Sonic 3 on prosody. The model weights are released on Hugging Face under the Tontaube Community Model License 1.0.
CuteTTS is presented, a compact continuous-autoregressive TTS system that reconciles high-fidelity generation with the latency demands of real-time interaction and introduces guidance-step distillation, which absorbs classifier-free guidance and multiple solver steps into a single interval-conditioned student.

Four architectural additions that did not help, a computed lexicon reaching 94% of a learned table's top-1 accuracy at one fifth of the parameters, and a computed lexicon reaching 94% of a learned table's top-1 accuracy at one fifth of the parameters.
Modern text-to-speech (TTS) is dominated by autoregressive (AR) codec language models, whose left-to-right decoding brings latency that grows with utterance length, error accumulation along the committed prefix, and an artificial generation order imposed on the Residual Vector Quantization (RVQ) token grid. We propose Luna-TTS Family, diffusion-language-model-based TTS systems pretrained on 1 million hours of speech across Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean. The family is built by progressive adaptation of a pretrained AR text LLM, from causal to bidirectional and finally to block-causal attention, and comprises two variants sharing a single tokenizer, data pipeline, and 0.6B backbone lineage. Luna-TTS is fully non-autoregressive: it generates the entire RVQ token grid in a fixed number of parallel refinement steps, with zero-shot voice cloning and speech editing arising natively as infilling. Luna-TTS Realtime, derived by continual training, is autoregressive over blocks of 32 codec frames (1.28s) while denoising each block in parallel; it supports KV-cached blockwise generation and incremental audio delivery, achieving an end-to-end RTF of 0.0240 and 41.6 ms local first-block latency under the warmed serving protocol. An annealed fine-tuning stage adds explicit control over emotion and non-verbal vocalizations (NVVs), and a reinforcement-learning stage applies GRPO with policy ratios computed over the realized denoising trajectory. On Seed-TTS-Eval, Luna-TTS achieves the best results on all four metrics among compared open-source and commercial systems (0.73 CER / 79.7 SIM on test-zh, 1.49 WER / 76.8 SIM on test-en); on the harder in-the-wild CV3-Eval, it posts the lowest Mandarin and English error rates in our comparison. Against leading commercial systems, it achieves the best results on most objective, model-based, and human-rated metrics for NVV and emotion control.

This work studies how to compress a tokenizer by distillation, taking as the supervision target neither the discrete token nor the output distribution but the pre-quantizer latent the model actually consumes - the last representation the two token interfaces share.

LongVU-TTT is introduced, which inserts a convolutional Test-Time Training (TTT) resampler with causal fast-weight updates between the vision encoder and the LLM, and is stronger than attention- and fixed-state recurrent resamplers across three benchmarks.
