Abstract
The accurate identification of random dynamic loads under thermal–mechanical coupling is essential for ensuring the structural reliability and safety of aircraft structures. This paper presents a thermally corrected load identification method that integrates power-exponent-weighted regularization with finite element model (FEM) updating. Within the inverse pseudo-excitation framework, the condition number of the frequency response function (FRF) matrix is introduced into the regularization term to adaptively suppress noise amplification in ill-conditioned frequency regions. Meanwhile, thermal experimental modal data are used to update the FEM and reconstruct the FRF under the actual thermal state, reducing the influence of thermal-induced transfer matrix mismatch. Numerical simulation on a wing structure indicates that the proposed method reduces the identification error by 40.7%. Experimental validation further shows an error reduction of at least 24.4%, demonstrating its robustness and applicability for random dynamic load identification in high-temperature aerospace environments.
This study addresses the inherently low damping and vibration susceptibility of carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) laminated cantilever plates by developing a comprehensive dynamic modeling and active vibration control framework. An electromechanical coupling model incorporating macro-fiber composite (MFC) actuator...
Effective vibration control and dynamic behavior management in the presence of parameter uncertainties are critical for high-speed motorized spindles. Although traditional robust design optimization minimizes dynamic response variability, it lacks explicit control over failure probabilities. To address these limitation...
Structural stiffness and low-frequency vibration characteristics govern the load-carrying reliability of a quadrotor airframe. An ANSYS Workbench finite-element model was used to calculate the response of a four-arm frame under central downward loads of 100, 200, and 300 N. Equivalent stress, total deformation, the fir...
In wind-resistant analysis of eccentric structures, the quasi-steady assumption may lead to an underestimation of wind-induced failure risks for structures such as tower cranes and transmission angle steel towers. In this study, force-balance tests were conducted on rigid models to obtain the three-component force coef...
