Digital technology has become a fundamental driving force for global economic and social restructuring.Emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, cloud edge computing, digital twins andblockchain are transforming digital research from laboratory exploration to large-scale engineeringpromotion.Unlike traditional journals that prioritize pure algorithmic theory, the goal of Digital Deployment andInnovation Technology is to integrate digital theory, engineering deployment, and industrial innovation. Itemphasizes practicality and deployability to compensate for the widespread neglect of situationaladaptation in mainstream academic research. Modern digital deployment has evolved into a systemengineering that covers architecture design, resource allocation, terminal coordination, and networksecurity. With the expansion of 5G/6G and industrial Internet, the traditional deployment framework cannotmeet the requirements of cross domain collaboration, lightweight deployment and stable and high securityoperation. This magazine advocates scenario oriented innovation and deployment centered theoretical upgrading. Itgathers research on digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence deployment, digital twins, network security, and industrial digitization, linking academic research with on-site practice. Faced with the deepening globaldigital transformation in the fields of manufacturing, cities, energy, and education, the integration ofcutting-edge technologies has brought both opportunities and obstacles. This journal provides an openacademic platform to share standardized deployment solutions and innovative methods, promoting efficienttranslation of digital achievements and high-quality growth of the digital economy.
This publication proposes a definition and a classification of agile software development approaches and analyses ten software development methods that can be characterized as being "agile" against the defined criterion.
P. Abrahamsson, O. Salo, Jussi Ronkainen et al.· arXiv.org· 727 citations· ⚡54
The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.
M. Pikkarainen, Jukka Haikara, O. Salo et al.· Empirical Software Engineeri...· 401 citations· ⚡48
The results indicate that software engineering work practices are chosen opportunistically, adapted and configured to provide value under the constrains imposed by the startup context.
Nicolò Paternoster, Carmine Giardino, M. Unterkalmsteiner et al.· Information and Software Tec...· 394 citations· ⚡54
The perception of the impact of agile methods is predominantly positive, and several challenge areas were discovered, but based on this study, agile methods are here to stay.
