Sistem Informasi Pemesanan Makanan Berbasis Web Pada Warung Padang Pt. Minang Maingbau

Abstract

Warung padang,as one of the culinary businesses, still uses a manual sales system in the processes of transaction recording, order management, and sales report preparation, which has the potential to cause data errors, service delays, and less effective decision-making. This research aims to design and develop a web-based sales information system to improve the effectiveness of culinary business operations at Warung Damai. The system development method used is the Waterfall method, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The proposed system is designed using the PHP programming language, the MySQL database, and system modeling with Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD).The results of this research are expected to assist Warung Damai in managing menu data, orders, transactions, and sales reports in a computerized manner, so that operational processes become faster, more accurate, and more efficient, while also supporting better decision-making.
