Abstract

Video identity replacement seeks to transfer the identities of one or more subjects while preserving the motion, expressions, and temporal structure of a driving video. Existing methods largely target single-person settings and often require task-specific structural controls, such as masks or pose representations, limiting their flexibility in general multimodal editing systems. Progress on multi-person replacement is further constrained by the scarcity of paired training data. We present Vorch-IR, a unified framework that supports single- and dual-person identity replacement, with optional background replacement, in a single model. Built on LTX2, Vorch-IR jointly conditions on a driving video, indexed reference images, and a textual editing instruction. The reference images need not match the pose, layout, or spatial configuration of the driving video: their roles as subject or background references are specified through the instruction. Dense visual conditions are fused through self-attention, while a vision-language context establishes semantic correspondence through cross-attention. We further develop an automatic data construction pipeline that synthesizes paired supervision for all four editing settings. Experiments using automatic metrics and pairwise human evaluation demonstrate strong identity preservation, motion fidelity, and temporal coherence across diverse scenarios. A temporal overlapping inference strategy additionally extends the short-clip model to minute-long generation without autoregressive continuation.

WithEveryone: Unified Planning and Identity Grounding for Group Image Generation

Identity-preserving image generation becomes increasingly unreliable when a scene must contain many specified people. Beyond retaining each identity, the model must bind every reference to a distinct person and location, while training-time identity losses must establish correspondence among several noisy predicted faces. We introduce WithEveryone, a unified framework for generating group images up to ten reference identities. WithEveryone injects each selected identity as an addressed token, predicts a structured identity--layout plan, and renders the plan as a visual condition. Its key objective, Layout-Grounded ID Loss, uses annotated face regions to supervise the intended identities directly, avoiding unstable embedding-based face matching; ID Representation Forcing additionally trains a prediction for each identity before image synthesis. On an identity-disjoint benchmark, WithEveryone achieves the highest target-context identity similarity, improving face similarity from 0.462 for GPT-Image-2 to 0.499, while reducing copy-paste artifacts from 0.169 to 0.055. It further covers 97.3\% of the requested identities with a duplicate rate of only 2.8\%. These results show that explicit identity--layout grounding enables identity-preserving generation to scale to larger groups without relying on direct reference-face copying.

Keyframe-Anchored Identity Preservation for Sequential-Action Video Generation

Identity-preserving text-to-video generation aims to synthesize a video that accurately follows a textual description while maintaining the recognizability of a user-specified subject throughout. The IPVG26 challenge extends this framework from a single holistic prompt to a temporally structured specification. The model additionally receives a sequence of timestamped action captions and must render the subject performing these actions in the specified order. This temporal structure presents a challenge not encountered in previous identity-preserving generation tasks, as the subject must continuously perform a scripted sequence of distinct actions while maintaining a consistent identity. However, end-to-end video generators are prone to appearance drift as motion accumulates and the depicted actions change. We address this challenge with a training-free, three-stage pipeline framework. An action-aware prompt polishment stage first rewrites the inputs into image-generation prompts that specify the terminal state of each action. An identity-preserving generation stage then produces the keyframe sequence by conditioning each frame jointly on the reference identity and its predecessor, thereby decoupling time-invariant appearance from time-varying pose. Finally, an identity-aware inference enhancement stage synthesizes the intermediate segments using multi-reference guidance and identity-driven noise searching, both of which reinforce identity fidelity during sampling. Our method ranked third on the official Track 2 leaderboard, demonstrating competitive performance and strong generality.

From Dense Prediction to Visual Editing: Structured Supervision for Unified Image and Video Creation

Unified image and video creation requires a model to follow diverse instructions while preserving identity, geometry, and temporal structure from visual context. However, semantic-only conditioning and creation-only training do not explicitly supervise the local structure needed for precise, temporally consistent editing. We therefore formulate depth and surface-normal prediction as image-form denoising targets, using these dense tasks as structured visual supervision within the same creation interface. Our framework decouples semantic interpretation from spatially aligned visual injection while sharing one multimodal diffusion transformer (MMDiT) backbone across all tasks. Mutual Context Attention (MCA), a paired-video data-construction procedure, and a progressive training curriculum then connect the learned structural cues to temporally localized editing and reference-conditioned creation. A single checkpoint obtains the highest overall score in the reported comparison of unified systems (4.15); adding dense supervision improves OpenVE Overall from 3.98 to 4.06 and Local Add from 3.92 to 4.18. These results support a deliberately bounded conclusion: perception-oriented dense supervision transfers useful structural knowledge to downstream creation, especially editing locality and preservation; we do not claim superiority as a standalone dense predictor.
