Abstract
This research aims to test the impact of knowledge-oriented leadership with its dimensions (consultation, facilitation, intellectual stimulation, innovative modeling, support) on the implementation of the information security management system according to the international standard ISO27001, using Asiacell Communications Company / Baghdad Branch as a practical field for the study. The study community consisted of 110 employees from all administrative levels, and a random sample of 86 employees was selected. The study relied on the descriptive analytical method, using a questionnaire designed according to the five-point Likert scale as the main tool for data collection. To achieve the study's objectives and test its hypotheses, a set of statistical methods (confirmatory factor analysis, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, coefficient of variation, structural equation modeling) was used through the programs (Smart PLS V.4) and (SPSS V.28) to uncover the impact relationships between knowledge-oriented leadership and the information security management system. The statistical analysis revealed several results, the most prominent of which was the existence of a strong positive significant effect of knowledge-oriented leadership on the information security management system, and it was also found that intellectual stimulation was the most influential dimension.
