Abstract
This paper focuses on the collaborative optimization of wind-solar-storage systems in smart grids under multi-time scales, systematically expounding its core connotation, technical principles, research progress and development trends. Firstly, it defines the classification and application characteristics of multi-time scales in power systems, and clarifies the basic objectives and constraint conditions of wind-solar-storage collaborative optimization. Then, it reviews the research progress of short-term real-time control, medium-term scheduling coordination and long-term capacity planning, summarizing the technical paths to solve the uncertainty of renewable energy output. Aiming at the key challenges such as prediction error, coordination mechanism and economic benefit, corresponding improvement strategies are put forward. The results show that multi-time-scale collaborative optimization can effectively improve the consumption capacity of clean energy and the stability of power grid operation. It is pointed out that interdisciplinary integration and technological innovation should be strengthened in the future to adapt to the large-scale grid connection of high-penetration renewable energy, so as to further enhance system efficiency and boost the low-carbon transformation of global energy systems.
This paper summarizes the research status and development trends of wind-solar-storage smart grid systems. As energy and environmental crises intensify, renewable energy has become crucial for power system development. Wind and solar power are clean but intermittent and unstable, posing challenges to grid stability. Th...

The integration of high shares of renewable energy into the power grid poses significant challenges to the stable operation of power systems. Hydropower, owing to its rapid response capability and reservoir regulation capacity, can effectively mitigate the volatility and randomness associated with photovoltaic power ou...
Against the backdrop of global climate change and China’s “Dual Carbon” goals, the clean low-carbon energy transition is imperative, with hydropower, PV and wind power as core renewable energies. PV and wind power output features randomness and volatility due to natural factors, while hydropower has superior regulation...
