Abstract
StemSure is Python software for diameter at breast height (DBH) measurement from metric forest LiDAR point clouds. It processes unclassified, classified, or height-normalized LAS/LAZ inputs through ground estimation, stem-candidate generation, circular-section fitting, and neighboring-height consistency checks. Candidate-level outputs link diameters and positions to fitted centers, section heights, geometric diagnostics, processing states and reasons, and run provenance. This version 0.5.4 deposit preserves the publicly released source code, installable Python wheel, bilingual plain-text documentation, a synthetic LAS demonstration, and release-verification records. Frozen version 0.5.1 source and wheel artifacts are included in the source archive for reproduction of the associated manuscript measurements. The 0.5.4 measurement implementation retains the 0.5.3 algorithms and thresholds; release changes concern approved licensing, manuscript title, and publication metadata. Independent wheel installation, dependency checks, four regression tests, and equality of synthetic measurement outputs were verified. The default central measurement height is 1.30 m; input coordinates are in meters and the numerical diameter range is 5–70 cm. The supplied example is synthetic; forest datasets remain available from their original providers. This deposit contains the measurement software and its frozen paper version; the manuscript supplementary materials provide the complete per-tree evaluation and figure-recomputation materials. Free use is permitted for reproduction and independent verification of the associated manuscript under the StemSure Paper Reproduction License, version 1.0. Other research, commercial use, and public redistribution require prior written authorization; full terms are in LICENSE.txt. Permission contact: Qianxi Qu, qqx@caf.ac.cn. This publication proposes a definition and a classification of agile software development approaches and analyses ten software development methods that can be characterized as being "agile" against the defined criterion.

The study shows that agile practices improve both informal and formal communication, but indicates that, in larger development situations involving multiple external stakeholders, a mismatch of adequate communication mechanisms can sometimes even hinder the communication.

The results indicate that software engineering work practices are chosen opportunistically, adapted and configured to provide value under the constrains imposed by the startup context.

The results show that the embedded industry has been able to apply agile methods in its development processes and that the appreciation of the agile methods and their individual practices appears to increase once adopted and applied in practice.

Requirements in large systems rarely exist in isolation. Their meaning depends on the wider project context - other requirements, policies, decisions, tests, and implementation details. That becomes especially important when AI is used for review, because spotting a possible conflict or gap is only the beginning. ReqSpace explores how AI, visualisation, and connected project context can help reviewers understand those findings, trace the relationships behind them, and focus on the questions that…
AI is making software generation faster, but speed does not remove the need for expertise. As more work is delegated to AI, tacit knowledge may become one of the most important human advantages in software engineering.
