Analisis Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Islam Dalam Film Ranah Tiga Warna

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the representation of Islamic education values namely faith (akidah), worship (ibadah), and morals (akhlak) in the film Ranah Tiga Warna. The research is grounded in the importance of instilling Islamic educational values in the younger generation through an appealing medium such as film, and addresses the limited prior research that specifically examines the representation of Islamic education values in the film version of this work through content analysis. This study employs a qualitative approach in the form of library research. The primary data source is the film Ranah Tiga Warna, while secondary data consist of the source novel and relevant literature on Islamic education. Data were collected through documentation of dialogues and scenes, then analyzed using Klaus Krippendorff's content analysis method through the stages of unitizing, sampling, coding, reducing, inferring, and narrating. The results show that the film comprehensively represents Islamic education values: faith values appear five times, comprising belief in Allah, gratitude, and reliance on Allah (tawakal); worship values appear three times, comprising prayer, reading the Qur'an, and supplication and remembrance (dhikr); and moral values appear six times, comprising respect for parents, mutual help, and patience and perseverance. Moral values are the most dominant category depicted in the film. These findings indicate that Ranah Tiga Warna is suitable as a learning medium for Islamic Religious Education to help instill Islamic values and shape students' character.
