Targeted dual-responsive nanocapsules for synergistic cisplatin and paclitaxel prodrug delivery in the treatment of lung cancer

Background The clinical application of traditional chemotherapy for treating patients with lung cancer is restricted by its poor targeting efficacy and severe systemic toxicity. In this study, we developed an acid-sensitive lipid-polymer nanocapsule (PTX/Pt@RGD) for the co-delivery of a redox-sensitive paclitaxel (PTX)...

Nanocarrier-Assisted Laser-Driven Photodynamic/Chemo Therapy for Breast Cancer: A Narrative Review.

Introduction: Efficacy of conjugated photodynamic therapy (PDT)/chemotherapy in the treatment of breast cancer is summarized in this review. Alternative chemo drugs (CDs) and photosensitizers (PSs) are irradiated with lasers at various wavelengths to verify the toxicity of photo-stimulated compounds. Methods: The condu...

Multifunctional nanoparticles for co-delivery of elacridar and paclitaxel for breast cancer local treatment.

In an in vivo model of breast cancer, intraductal H-NPs reduced tumor incidence and volume compared to a drug solution, and increased the mammary tissue-to-plasma ratio of paclitaxel by 105-fold, supporting an improved tissue retention, support H-NPs as promising platforms for localized breast cancer therapy.

The Photodynamic Therapy of N-TiO2 and GOT Nanoparticles Enhances Chemotherapy Efficacy in Melanoma Preclinical Models

Introduction: Melanoma is the most aggressive form of skin cancer, with a rising incidence and poor prognosis in advanced stages. Due to its resistance to conventional therapies, alternative approaches such as photodynamic therapy (PDT) are under active investigation. This study evaluated the potential of N-doped TiO₂...
