Uranium removal from water is crucial, yet conventional photocatalysis is limited by carrier recombination and poor charge transfer. Herein, a dual‐site electronic coupling channel modulation strategy is proposed by tuning metal sites in both the porphyrin center and paddlewheel nodes of two‐dimensional porphyrinic metal–organic framework nanosheets (M

under light irradiation without sacrificial agents, outperforming most reported systems. Spectroscopic and electrochemical analyses reveal more efficient charge separation, extended carrier lifetime (3.95 ns), and lower ion diffusion resistance. Density functional theory calculations indicate that rational dual‐site modulation promotes metal–ligand orbital hybridization and interfacial electronic coupling, facilitating electron delocalization and charge migration while suppressing recombination. A relatively homogeneous electrostatic potential distribution further suggests a balanced polarization environment that alleviates localized charge accumulation. Beyond excellent photocatalysis, the material shows promising scalability, with stable performance in a flow‑through system achieving 145 mg g

uranium removal. This work highlights the critical role of dual‑metal‑site synergistic modulation in reconstructing interfacial electronic coupling and charge‑transfer behavior, offering a new electronic structure regulation strategy for designing high‑performance photocatalytic uranium reduction materials.
One-dimensional (1D) MOFs offer spatially confined pathways for rapid charge migration, minimizing the transport dispersion and junction resistance typical of multidirectional networks. This structural anisotropy offers an ideal platform for elucidating how distinct metal nodes and photoactive ligands modulate excite...
The sustainable manufacturing of strategic energetic materials is impeded by hazardous oxidants and poor atom economy in conventional syntheses. Herein, we report a green and controllable electrochemical oxidative coupling route toward high-performance 4,4′-diaminoazofurazan (DAAzF) using a vanadium-doped NiO nanoshe...
Noble-metal-based cocatalysts remain the benchmark for interfacial charge extraction and lowering surface reaction barriers for photocatalytic water splitting, but their scarcity and cost limit scalable deployment. To develop low-cost alternatives, two-dimensional molybdenum monoboride nanosheets (MoB, denoted as MB) w...

Nickel (Ni) is an attractive non-noble-metal catalyst for the water-gas shift reaction (WGSR), yet strong CO adsorption and competing methanation severely limit its activity and selectivity. Herein, we develop a series of NiCe layered double hydroxide-derived catalysts (NCO-T) through reduction-induced Ni exsolution. T...

The selectivity bottleneck of electrochemical nitrate‐to‐N2 conversion is kinetic rather than thermodynamic: dimerization of two adsorbed *NO intermediates is spin‐forbidden, imposing a kinetic barrier invisible to conventional thermodynamic analyses. Spin–orbit coupling (SOC) offers the principal channel for the requi...
Efficient multielectron electrocatalysis in layered covalent organic frameworks (COFs) is frequently limited by weak cross‐plane charge delivery to pore‐confined active sites. Herein, we report the construction of two metal‐bridged COFs (Py1‐COF‐Cu and Py2‐COF‐Cu) by incorporating nitrogen‐containing heterocycles to fa...
