Abstract
With the rapid development of diffusion models for digital image generation, achieving stable control over both semantic composition and visual style remains challenging. Existing approaches often rely on implicit attention or direct style injection, which may cause style–content leakage and unstable semantics. To address this issue, the authors propose Palette-Brush Diffusion (PBD), a controllable diffusion framework that decouples style modeling from semantic composition. The palette module models style distributions using whitening transformation and Gram statistics and injects them into diffusion features through affine modulation to preserve texture and color without copying structural content. The brush module separates structural and attribute information in text and maps structural embeddings into spatial layout weights that constrain cross-attention, thus establishing stable semantic–spatial correspondences during diffusion. Experiments demonstrate that PBD achieves more consistent style expression and more stable semantic composition than existing methods.
Image style transfer focuses on rendering a content image with the visual appearance of a reference artwork while keeping its main semantic layout unchanged. StyleID enables image-guided stylization without additional training by recording attention features during DDIM inversion, yet its results may still suffer from...

Both qualitative and quantitative experimental results demonstrate that CASPNet achieves significant improvements in mitigating pattern repetition and preserving structural integrity, producing high-quality stylized images.
Latent diffusion models have significantly advanced the field of artistic style transfer. Nevertheless, extant methods continue to be subject to content distortion when strong oil-painting stylisation is applied. Furthermore, the semantic-preserving style transfer and cross-modal text-to-image reconstruction are conven...

Image stylization with latent-diffusion models entangles two independently refined axes: what a region depicts and how it is depicted. Such pipelines expose only global controls, yet professional retouching demands deliberate, region-specific control. We lift two conditioning weights already present in a ControlNet + I...
A major challenge in training-free image style transfer is to reproduce the artistic characteristics of a reference image while preserving the semantic identity and spatial structure of the content image. Existing methods often struggle to balance content preservation and stylistic expressiveness: aggressive feature in...
