Abstract
This study aims to identify development trends, structural characteristics, and major research directions in scientific publications in the field of corpus linguistics. The purpose of the research is to determine the scientific productivity of the field, publication dynamics, leading authors and countries, patterns of international scientific collaboration, as well as dominant thematic trends by conducting a bibliometric analysis of publications on corpus linguistics published between 2015 and 2025 based on the Scopus database. Bibliometric analysis was used as the main research method. Data were retrieved from the Scopus database using the keyword “corpus linguistics,” resulting in 23,073 documents; after applying a time filter (2015–2025), 16,475 documents were downloaded, and following data cleaning with the Bibliometrix software, 16,402 scientific documents were included in the analysis. Bibliographic data were processed in the RStudio programming environment using the Bibliometrix package and the Biblioshiny interface. The analysis examined the annual dynamics of publications, author and country-level collaboration, the most frequently used keywords, and thematic networks. The results indicate rapid growth in corpus linguistics publications, expanding international collaboration, and a shift toward computational approaches. The study systematizes current trends and provides a foundation for future research.
Mathematical literacy is one of the most relevant research areas in the field of modern mathematical education. The aim of the article is to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the development trends, structure and thematic features of scientific publications on mathematical literacy indexed in the Scopus database for the period 2005-2025. The research data were selected using the keywords “mathematical” and “literacy”, and a total of 2276 scientific works were analyzed. The data were exported in BibTeX format and processed in RStudio using Bibliometrix and Biblioshiny tools. The analysis revealed the dynamics of publications over time, leading authors and sources, patterns of scientific collaboration between countries, citation structure, as well as the main thematic areas in the field of mathematical literacy and their evolution. The results show a significant increase in the number of studies on mathematical literacy after 2015.Thematic analyses reveal that while the research initially focused on cognitive and methodological issues, in later years it has increasingly focused on educational practice, assessment and modeling, and applied contexts. Overall, this study provides a comprehensive overview of the long-term development trends in the field of mathematical literacy research and identifies relevant areas for future research.

Bibliometric analysis is crucial to grasp scholarly communication trends, thematic changes and knowledge organization within a field. The present study aims to examine the research trends in Library and Information Science (LIS) by analyzing the post-graduate theses stored in the National Library of Sri Lanka (NLSL). The main objectives are to explore trends in the subject, development of themes, distribution of languages, institutional involvement and time-based patterns in LIS research production. This study differs from the previous ones which followed descriptive statistical approach, as it studies the salient research themes in Sri Lankan LIS scholarship using keyword frequency analysis, title-word analysis, sub-topic categorization and keyword co-occurrence analysis. The methodology that was followed was quantitative bibliometric. A total of 73 doctoral theses, gathered from the NLSL collection between 1985 and March 2025, were analyzed. Institutional records and Koha library management system were used to get data. Analytical tools which were used were descriptive statistics, thematic categorization, title-word analysis, keyword co-occurrence mapping and trend analysis. The results indicate that English is the main language of research – almost four fifths of the theses are in English and Sinhala comes after that with a small share, while Tamil is not used in the theses at all. Thematic analysis reveals that the traditional LIS areas of university libraries, library services and collection management have been well represented, while emerging areas like digital libraries, research data management, artificial intelligence applications, information systems and knowledge management are poorly represented. The results of the analysis of the co-occurrence of keywords show that there is a strong thematic relationship between the conventional library service themes and the integration of technological themes and interdisciplinary themes is not high. It is concluded that, the research in LIS in Sri Lanka has not been evenly developed thematically, hasn't diversified much and doesn't pay enough attention to new research directions in the global arena. The research has added value to LIS field by offering a national level thematic bibliographical mapping of the LIS theses and the identification of the main research gaps from which the future academic and policy directions will arise.

Bibliometric studies play an important role in evaluating the growth, structure and scholarly output of academic journals. The present study is a bibliometric survey of the Sri Lanka Library Review (SLLR), a journal published by the Sri Lanka Library Association, between 2020 and 2025. The study analysed 55 full research articles and two abstracts published in twelve issues. The main indicators examined were annual publication output, authorship and collaboration patterns, article length, reference use, language of publication, institutional affiliation and readership on the Sri Lanka Journals Online (SLJOL) platform. The findings show that SLLR maintained a regular publication record during the study period, with an average of approximately nine research articles per year. Single-authored publications accounted for 52.63% of the total output, while multi-authored publications accounted for 47.37%, resulting in a Degree of Collaboration of 0.47. Most articles were between 16 and 20 pages in length, and the majority cited between 11 and 30 references. English was the dominant language of publication (68.42%), followed by Sinhala (19.30%) and Tamil (12.28%). Article view data indicated measurable readership through SLJOL, with most articles receiving between 200 and 399 views during the data collection period. The University of Colombo was the highest contributing institution. The findings demonstrate that SLLR is an important national journal for Library and Information Science research in Sri Lanka and has the potential to further strengthen its scholarly visibility, research collaboration and multilingual contribution.

This study aims to map the development of research on Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing (SAP) during the 2018–2024 period using a bibliometric approach. Research data were collected from the Scopus database through a literature selection process based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines, resulting in 316 publications that met the inclusion criteria. Publication metadata were analyzed using VOSviewer through co-occurrence, overlay visualization, density visualization, and co-authorship network analyses to identify publication trends, thematic developments, and scientific collaboration patterns. The findings indicate that SAP-related publications remained relatively stable with moderate fluctuations, increasing from 42 publications in 2018 to a peak of 53 publications in 2022. The keyword network structure highlights SAP, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and enterprise systems as core themes interconnected with digital transformation, cloud computing, process mining, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and SAP S/4HANA. Temporal analysis reveals a shift in research focus from conventional ERP implementation toward the development of enterprise systems increasingly integrated with digital technologies and data-driven capabilities. Furthermore, the co-authorship analysis demonstrates the emergence of international collaboration networks involving researchers from various countries in advancing SAP-related studies. Overall, the results provide a comprehensive overview of the evolution of SAP research and identify promising directions for future studies in the era of digital transformation.
