Abstract
To improve performance, reduce errors and downtime, and ensure worker safety and well-being, the approach aims to create a systematic framework incorporating human factors into Industry 4.0 maintenance operations. The research questions are primarily concerned with identifying the human factors considerations in Industry 4.0 maintenance, creating a framework to incorporate them, and investigating their effects on humans and systems
for successful organizational applications. A literature review aims to consider human factors using content analysis and design the theoretical framework for maintenance procedures, eventually leading to managerial insights. From Individual, technological, procedural, and organizational MRFs, this study emphasized the necessity of maintenance strategy, failure analysis, planning, managerial support, and organizational culture in modern enterprises. The study’s findings can help organizations enhance their efficiency, productivity, and safety by considering the human aspect throughout maintenance procedures in the age of Industry 4.0.
