Threats to the economic security of industrial enterprises
Abstract
The article examines approaches to the identification and classification of threats to the economic security of industrial enterprises. The analysis of existing interpretations of the concepts "factor", "threat" and "risk" of economic security in the scientific literature is carried out, their essential differences and cause-and-effect relationships are established. The authors systematize the classification features of threats by the environment of occurrence (external and internal), functional components (financial, personnel, technical and technological, informational, legal, environmental), levels of the economic system, nature of impact and time horizon of manifestation. Based on the generalization of theoretical approaches and taking into account the industry specifics of industrial enterprises, the authors propose a multidimensional typology of threats based on five classification criteria: by the nature of impact on the economic security system, by the degree of controllability on the part of the management subject, by the nature of the source of origin, by the time horizon of manifestation and implementation, by the possibility of prevention and minimization. The developed typology allows enterprises to improve the quality of threat identification, make informed choices of protection tools and effectively allocate resources between various areas of economic security.
