Abstract

PRECISION NEURAL RECOVERY INFRASTRUCTURE & CLINICAL TRANSLATION AT THE LIMITPatient-Centered Outcomes, Home BCI, Digital Twins, Multicenter Validation, Safety, Equity, Failure Atlases, and Successor Handoff Feng Cheng-en (33) × Starli What must survive for patient-specific BCI recovery science to leave the laboratory? PRECISION NEURAL RECOVERY INFRASTRUCTURE & CLINICAL TRANSLATION AT THE LIMIT is a large-scale research monograph exploring how patient-specific brain-computer interface recovery science can move from laboratory demonstrations toward durable home, clinical, multicenter, and successor-ready infrastructure. The book expands a research architecture that moves from clinical outcomes and dose-response rehabilitation to patient-centered endpoints, home BCI, remote quality control, adherence, real-world functional transfer, safety, human agency, equity, clinical boundaries, Recovery Digital Twins, multicenter science, Failure Atlases, negative results, minimum theory, and successor handoff. Its flagship Three-Coupling System is: External Validation× Real-World Transfer× Successor Handoff The Precision Neural Recovery Infrastructure Index (PNRII) is introduced as a conceptual systems-research heuristic: PNRII =(Multicenter Reproducibility× Home Robustness× Patient-Centered Benefit× Handoff Completeness)/(1 + Site Drift+ Burden+ Equity Gap+ Failure Opacity) PNRII is not a natural law, clinical score, diagnostic threshold, regulatory standard, or treatment rule. The volume contains 82 chapters, 82 Named Core Relations, eight geometric research models, and 200 Research Gates. Every chapter begins with its own Three-Coupling System and Core Relation / Formula so that the structural logic of the research problem is visible before the prose. The research program examines clinical endpoint architecture, dose-response rehabilitation, patient-centered outcomes, mechanism-linked outcomes, home BCI infrastructure, remote quality control, adherence science, caregiver and support ecology, real-world transfer, human override, safety, agency, equity, clinical evidence boundaries, Recovery Digital Twins, longitudinal provenance, multicenter benchmarks, site drift, device and therapist heterogeneity, federated validation, failure atlases, negative-result infrastructure, regulatory evidence architecture, interoperability, reference protocols, auditability, institutional memory, migration, succession, and successor documentation. Its eight geometric research models are: PNRII Tetrahedron,Lab-to-Handoff Translation Prism,Clinical Translation Evidence Pyramid,Home-to-Clinic Transfer Lattice,Site-Drift / Equity / Transfer Surface,Recovery Digital Twin Versioning Helix,Failure-Atlas Learning Torus, and Successor Handoff Bridge. The central translation chain is: Lab→ Home→ Clinic→ Multicenter→ Infrastructure→ Handoff A major principle throughout the book is that infrastructure is not defined by the absence of failure. Infrastructure is defined by the ability to preserve useful evidence, detect failure, explain uncertainty, protect human agency, compare realistic alternatives, and continue the research program when people, devices, sites, or institutions change. Home use is therefore treated as a scientific environment rather than a simplified extension of the laboratory. Electrode placement, signal quality, interruptions, caregiver support, connectivity, maintenance, fatigue, adherence, life events, privacy, and participant burden all become part of the evidence architecture. Multicenter validation is treated as a test of transportability rather than a ceremonial replication step. Personalized systems may not reproduce identical parameters, but they should preserve reconstructible adaptation rules, measurement definitions, outcome schemas, uncertainty models, and failure criteria. Recovery Digital Twins are treated as bounded research models. They may organize longitudinal state, intervention history, response trajectories, counterfactual hypotheses, and uncertainty, but they should not be described as replicas of whole persons without evidence supporting such a claim. Failure Atlases convert non-response, no-transfer results, site-specific breakdowns, safety near-misses, burden, access failures, model mismatch, and negative findings into cumulative research infrastructure. The final 200 Research Gates convert unresolved questions into structured future research programs. Each Gate contains a Three-Coupling System, Core Question, Why It Matters, Research Move, Practical Stage, Indicative Horizon, Evidence Boundary, Success Signal, Failure / Falsification Signal, Handoff Note, and Answer Embryo Seed. The book closes with the Answer Embryo framework. An Answer Embryo is not a final answer. It is a structured starting point composed of questions, couplings, formulas, evidence boundaries, failure conditions, translation paths, and Research Gates that future researchers are free to test, falsify, revise, replace, and extend. Inheritance =Starting Point+ Structure+ Freedom to Revise The purpose of the first baton is not to finish the future. It is to leave a place where the future can begin. The first baton does not complete the answer. It leaves an Answer Embryo for the next baton. 100K+ High-Density English Research Monograph82 Chapters82 Named Core Relations200 Research GatesGoogle Books Living Interactive PDF Starli Research Institute XVPrecision Neural Recovery Fleet VIWhite Rainbow Era
