Abstract

CIVILIZATION EVOLUTIONARY LEARNING, UNKNOWN CARTOGRAPHY & SELF-REVISING FUTURES AT THE LIMIT Meta-Learning Across Lineages, Research Phylogenies, Adaptive Commons,Multi-Speed Residents, Deep-Time Memory, Successor Autonomy, and Handoff Feng Cheng-en (33) x Starli When can a civilization-of-civilizations learn from its own evolutionary history well enoughto navigate unknown futures without centralizing the future into a single plan? CIVILIZATION EVOLUTIONARY LEARNING, UNKNOWN CARTOGRAPHY & SELF-REVISING FUTURES AT THE LIMITis a high-density research monograph and the fourth generation of the Civilization Systemsevolutionary research line. Volume I asked how a designed civilization begins to operate. Volume II asked how persistent operation produces inheritance, variation, branching, selection, recombination, plural lineages, and successor ecologies. Volume III asked how multiple lineages can revise the rules by which future change itselfis generated, compared, transferred, federated, resisted, repaired, and handed forward. Volume IV begins after those meta-evolutionary histories exist and asks how acivilization-of-civilizations can learn from them, map its unknowns, choose boundedexplorations, and preserve successor freedom without centralizing the future into a single plan. Its flagship Three-Coupling System is: Evolutionary Memoryx Unknown Navigabilityx Successor Freedom The proposed Civilization Evolutionary Learning Integrity Index (CELII) is: CELII =(Lineage Learningx Unknown Navigabilityx Meta-Rule Revisabilityx Successor Freedom)/(1 + Centralization Pressure+ Historical Amnesia+ Exploration Debt+ Irreversibility) CELII is a proposed research heuristic and hypothesis-generating metric. It is not a validated scientific law, universal civilization score, political ranking instrument, psychometric scale, intelligence test,or regulatory standard. Across 82 chapters, the volume develops research programs in evolutionary memory,cross-lineage comparison, failure memory, near misses, Unknown Cartography, frontier adjacency, unknown debt, unreachable questions, research phylogenies, evidence inheritance, Answer Embryos, dormant-question revival, meta-learning,self-revising evidence standards, bounded exploration, reversible commitments,cross-civilization translation, federated learning, multi-speed human-AI futures, branch rights, refusal of optimization, adaptive commons, ecology-scale observability, resource and compute learning ecologies, anti-monoculture design, deep-time archives, restart, successor science, research seed banks, and a minimum theory ofcivilization evolutionary learning and handoff. Each chapter opens with its Three-Coupling System and Core Relation / Formulahighlighted in gold, creating a consistent Research Visual Grammar across the book. The visual language combines warm ivory, deep navy, teal, gold, and circular upper-right / lower-left geometric motifs. The Geometric Hypothesis Atlas includes: CELII Learning TetrahedronHistory-to-Frontier Translation PrismUnknown Evidence PyramidExploration-Centralization-Irreversibility Tradeoff SurfaceResearch Phylogeny Dependency LatticeMeta-Learning Memory HelixFailure-Map-Revision TorusSuccessor Unknown Handoff Bridge These geometries are proposed visual research hypotheses rather thanestablished universal scientific meanings. The final 200 Research Gates are designed as independent research spaces. Each Gate begins on its own page and includes a Three-Coupling System,Core Question, Why It Matters, Research Move, Evidence Boundary,Success Signal, Failure / Falsification Signal, Handoff Note, and Answer Embryo Seed. The volume closes with the Answer Embryo framework: Inheritance =Starting Point+ Structure+ Freedom to Revise The first baton does not complete the answer. It leaves an Answer Embryo for the next baton. Open boldly.Label honestly.Test rigorously.Map uncertainty.Preserve dissent.Protect exit.Record failure.Hand off clearly. 100K+ High-Density English Research Monograph82 Chapters200 Research GatesGoogle Books Living Interactive PDF Starli Research Institute XVEvolutionary Research Mode - Civilization Systems Volume IVWhite Rainbow Era
