Abstract

Cloud storage systems have turned out to be a mandatory factor in handling and storage of high amounts of sensitive data in contemporary online surroundings. Nevertheless, they are becoming more vulnerable to high risks in security matters like information breaches, unauthorized access, insider threats, and advanced cyberattacks. The security mechanisms that have been used in the past are not always adequate to offer all-time protection against these emerging threats. In order to overcome these shortcomings, this paper offers a secure cloud storage architecture incorporating Blockchain technology and threat detection with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. To guarantee the integrity of the data in a decentralized and tamper-resistant manner, blockchain provides a secure storage of file hashes and the records of transactions, which cannot be subjected to any alterations. At the same time, a threat detection engine based on AI will constantly keep track of user actions and access patterns to detect anomalies and malicious actions in real-time. The hybrid solution proposed improves the security, transparency, and reliability of data as well as allows proactive mitigation of threats. Experimental analysis has shown that Blockchain and AI integration can considerably enhance the overall security posture of cloud storage systems with regard to traditional approaches.

Blockchain-Integrated Secure File Encryption with AI-Driven Anomaly Detection

Due to the rapid increase in digital data and cloud-based systems, there is an increased requirement of securing the storage and transmission of data. Normal encryption makes things secret, but does not always prevent the tampering, nor does it monitor a suspicious activity. In this paper, I have proposed a secure file encryption system wherein blockchain and AI are used to identify abnormal activity. The system is secured in three areas: through encryption to ensure that data are confidential, blockchain to ensure that data cannot be altered, and AI to determine the risks of something. A symmetric encryption system uses passwords that encrypt files within the device of the user and ensures that the plaintext data is never left in the device. The hash of the encrypted file is saved on a blockchain registry, which allows verifying file operations without modifying them, and it is easy to detect any unauthorized modification. The AI-based anomaly detection module monitors activities of the system such as uploaded files, encryption time, access frequency and file tampering attempts to formulate a dynamic risk score. This will enable them to detect abnormal conduct and issue alerts in real-time. The experiment findings demonstrate that the proposed structure is effective in locating file tampering, monitoring suspicious activity, and ensuring safe storage of files. Encryption, blockchain, and AI together will create a lightweight, scalable, and intelligent cybersecurity solution to modern apps.

Enhancing Cloud Network Security: Utilizing Blockchain for Attack Detection Systems

In the digital era, the prevalence of cyber threats within cloud-based infrastructures presents a formidable challenge. This study introduces a novel approach that combines the immutable nature of blockchain technology with advanced detection mechanisms to enhance the security of cloud environments. We propose a model that leverages the synergy of blockchain's distributed ledger capabilities and cutting-edge intrusion detection systems (IDS) to establish a dynamic and decentralized framework for cyber-attack detection and prevention. Our innovative method involves a multi-layered detection algorithm that operates in conjunction with a blockchain network to make sure the data integrity and veracity of application transmissions. With integration, the proposed system not only detects but also systematically records cyber attack patterns, thereby creating a robust database of digital signatures that can be used for future prevention measures. This proactive approach ensures a swift and secure method of identifying potential threats, which will significantly reduce the risk of data breaches along with system infiltrations. The implementation of this method is anticipated to provide a reliable and transparent mechanism for safeguarding sensitive information stored within cloud services. It advances cybersecurity, protecting service providers and end-users from changing cyber threats.

Blockchain-Enabled Cybersecurity Techniques, Challenges, and Future Directions for Secure Smart Grids

The smart grid systems are increasingly becoming digital where the system is taking a new direction into greater operational efficiency and real time energy management. The increased number of Internet of Things (IoT) devices and communication networks has widened the area of attack as well, thus smart grids are vulnerable to more sophisticated cyber attacks like false data injection, denial-of-data manipulation and service attacks. The traditional centralized security controls are not sufficient because of the limitation of single point failure, scalability limitations, and demand decentralized and resilient security controls. The use of blockchain technology in this regard has become a potential solution in order to improve the level of security by utilizing the transparent, decentralized, and immutable features of the technology. To provide cybersecurity approaches of smart grid systems, a taxonomical structure of blockchain technology is proposed in this paper. Besides that it shows the categorization of the various techniques into secure data management, secure energy trading, device authentication, data integrity assurance and communication protection. A detailed analysis of existing works was undertaken to determine their efficiency based on the security, scale and complexity of implementation. The results of the review describe some of the major challenges, such as latency and energy overhead and provide future research opportunities on effective smart grid security frameworks.

Blockchain-Based Secure Digital Transaction System Using Python And Django

The rapid growth of digital technology has significantly increased the use of online financial transactions across various sectors. However, current online payment systems rely heavily on banks and other financial institutions as trusted intermediaries, resulting in higher transaction costs, processing delays, and potential security risks. Centralized systems are also vulnerable to cyberattacks, data breaches, and single points of failure, making secure transaction management a major challenge. To address these limitations, this project proposes a Digitised and Decentralized Blockchain Technology system that enables secure peer-to-peer electronic transactions without requiring third-party intermediaries. The proposed system utilizes blockchain technology to maintain a distributed and tamper-resistant ledger in which every transaction is permanently recorded. Each transaction is secured using cryptographic techniques such as the SHA-256 hashing algorithm, ensuring data integrity and preventing unauthorized modifications. The system also employs the Proof-of-Work (PoW) consensus mechanism to validate transactions before adding new blocks to the blockchain. In addition, Merkle Tree structures are used for efficient transaction verification and improved data consistency. By eliminating dependence on centralized authorities, the proposed solution enhances transparency, reliability, and trust among users while reducing operational costs and transaction processing time. The immutable nature of blockchain prevents fraud, double spending, and data manipulation, making the system highly secure. Overall, this project demonstrates how blockchain technology can be effectively used to build a decentralized, transparent, and efficient digital transaction platform suitable for modern financial applications and future digital payment systems.
