Sistem Informasi Pemesanan Menu Makanan Berbasis Web Pada Studio Boxcafe Komisi Komunikasi SVD Ende
Abstract
Studio BoXcafe Communication Commission SVD Ende still uses a manual system in the food ordering process and raw material stock management. This manual system may lead to recording inaccuracies, delays in service, and inconsistencies between stock data and actual conditions. In addition, the limited structured digital data hampers business analysis and operational report preparation. Objective: This research aims to design and develop a web-based information system for food ordering and inventory management at Studio BoXcafe Communication Commission SVD Ende. The system development method applied in this study is the Waterfall model, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing phases. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The system was designed using UML and implemented using PHP programming language with MySQL as the database. Data analysis was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach by describing the current system conditions, identifying problems, and analyzing system requirements. Quantitative data were analyzed descriptively to measure efficiency improvements before and after system implementation. The results indicate that the developed system is capable of integrating the ordering process with inventory management in real-time. It also improves data accuracy, enhances service efficiency, and simplifies the preparation of operational reports. Furthermore, the system supports decision-making based on accurate data. Therefore, the implementation of this system is expected to improve operational efficiency and service quality at Studio BoXcafe.
