Performance Testing of the Water Level Monitoring System at Internet of Things-Based Water Gates
Abstract
The main problem in agricultural water management was the imbalance in water availability due to suboptimal irrigation systems. Efforts need to be made to develop a water level monitoring system that can monitor irrigation automatically and in real time. Therefore, research was conducted to test a water level monitoring system integrated with the Internet of Things (IoT). This research uses ultrasonic sensors to measure water levels and send data in real-time through the Blynk platform. This system was equipped with an ESP32 microcontroller and solar cells as a power source. Testing was conducted by comparing the results of ultrasonic sensor measurements with manual measurements. The test results showed that this system has an average accuracy of 95.85%, with more accurate performance at higher water levels.Â
