Abstract

The article examines the theoretical and applied aspects of managing the enterprise business communication system in the conditions of economic digitalization. It is evident that digital transformation significantly changes the forms, tools, channels, and mechanisms of communication, making business communication a strategic component of enterprise management. The study emphasizes that under the influence of digital technologies, business communications are no longer limited to information exchange but become an important factor in ensuring managerial efficiency, organizational flexibility, coordination of business processes, and the achievement of strategic goals. The main factors influencing the transformation of communication processes are identified, including the spread of digital platforms, electronic document management systems, cloud technologies, online communication services, remote and hybrid forms of employment, and the integration of information flows within the enterprise. It is determined that the digitalization of communications contributes to accelerating managerial decision-making, improving interaction between structural units, strengthening relationships with partners and consumers, and increasing enterprises’ adaptability to changes in the external environment. The article proves that effective management of the business communication system requires a comprehensive approach that combines technological, organizational, and managerial components. In particular, the implementation of modern digital communication tools should be accompanied by the development of employees’ digital competencies, the improvement of corporate communication culture, the optimization of information transmission channels, the reduction of organizational barriers, and the enhancement of information security. Special attention is paid to the role of communication management in maintaining the continuity and resilience of enterprise activities in conditions of economic instability, crisis transformations, and increasing competition. It is established that ineffective communication processes in the digital environment may lead to information losses, reduced productivity, deterioration of coordination between employees and departments, and decreased competitiveness of enterprises. Therefore, the management of business communications should be based on the principles of flexibility, integration, efficiency, and technological adaptability. The study also highlights that digital communications create new opportunities to improve the efficiency of enterprise management by automating communication processes, accelerating information exchange, and strengthening strategic interaction among all stakeholders. The practical significance of the research lies in the potential to apply the proposed approaches to improve communication management systems for enterprises undergoing digital transformation and rapid technological change. Prospects for further scientific research lie in developing methodological approaches to assessing the effectiveness of business communications, mechanisms for the digital transformation of communication processes, and tools to ensure the resilience and sustainability of enterprises in crisis and post-crisis conditions.
